
Jay is a co-founder of Flyer Homes.
He has made the most of his many years as a real estate agent, beginning his career in La Crosse, Wisconsin with Century 21 Affiliated, the No. 1 C21 franchise in the world. In his first year, specializing in the sale of residential and investment property, he was voted “Rookie of the Year” by the leadership of the 38 offices within the Affiliated franchise. By the end of his second year he had become part of that leadership when he was hired as Managing Broker of the Affiliated La Crosse office.
Jay was raised and has lived in northwest Arkansas most of his life, and after spending seven years away, first in Maine then in Wisconsin, Jay brought his family and his talents back home to Fayetteville, working with Downtown Properties Real Estate Group. After over a year with Downtown Properties, Jay partnered with Dustin Bartholomew and Todd Gill to create Flyer Homes.
Jay brings with him an expert knowledge of the real estate market and a no-pressure approach to real estate sales. Though he has won multiple awards throughout his career in real estate, he is most proud of the “Quality Service Awards”, which are presented to agents based solely on positive client feedback.
Jay’s philosophy on being a Realtor:
I’m no salesman. I’ve never sold a house in my life and I never will. If a house sells, it’s based on that house’s merits. My job is to be an advocate for my client through the home buying process, from finding or listing the house, to the negotiation, navigation and facilitation of the transaction, through the closing and beyond. I rate personal success by the relationship I have with my clients AFTER the deal is done. If they are happy, that’s success.
